Over The Road Driver

Compensation for Diesel (Sleeper) (cpm)

Weekly Pay – Direct Deposit Available
Pay Rates:
1 – 2 Yrs. = 45.0¢ per mile
3 – 5 Yrs. = 46.5¢ per mile
6 – 8 Yrs. = 47.5¢ per mile
9 – 12 Yrs. = 48.0¢ per mile
13 Yrs. or More = 49.0¢ per mile

Compensation for LNG (Sleeper) (cpm)
Pay per dispatch mile
Weekly Pay – Direct Deposit Available
Pay Rates:
1 – 2 Yrs. = 47.0¢ per mile
3 – 5 Yrs. = 48.5¢ per mile
6 – 8 Yrs. = 49.5¢ per mile
9 – 12 Yrs. = 50.0¢ per mile
13 Yrs. or More = 51.0¢ per mile

Additional Pay
$25.00 weekly Raven Cares Card (Used at all Pilot’s & Flying J’s to help offset on-road meals & incidental expenses.)
1¢ per mile for all pay miles in the quarter after you earn a Safety Bonus

Driver Qualifications

Driver Qualifications & Corporate Hiring Criteria
No driver will pull or operate Raven Transport equipment, unless the below listed criteria is met and the driver is approved by the Fleet Services department.

Minimum age = 21 years.
Minimum of one (1) year verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months OR 6 months of continuos tractor-trailer experience and have graduated a certified tractor-trailer driving school.
Must successfully demonstrate driving ability during a company sponsored driving skills test.
Must successfully pass a DOT physical examination.
Background investigation must meet company standards.
Capable of meeting all requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Capable of performing all tasks as indicated on the Job Description.
Have a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License with the capability of obtaining a Hazmat Endorsement issued by your State of residence, with no restrictions (except eyeglasses).
Not have three (3) or more moving violations in the previous thirty-six (36) months.
Not have a combination of three (3) or more accidents and/or moving violations within the past three (3) years.
No more than two (2) preventable vehicular accidents in the past three years.
No more than one (1) preventable vehicular accident in the past twelve (12) months.
No preventable accidents that involved a fatality.
Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
No record of “positive” test results from any drug and/or alcohol tests in the previous employment history.
No convictions for DWI or DUI in the past 10 years and/or no more than one conviction for DWI or DUI in a lifetime.
